My Story
I'm Siobhan, a dedicated hairdresser with over 20 years of experience. I've always been very ambitious and eager to learn. When I worked as an employee I soaked up as much knowledge as I could and learned many skills from my talented superiors, something which I'll be forever grateful for. As happy and passionate as I was when I was employed, I felt something was missing. Not just for me, but for my clients as well. It did'nt feel right rushing the work I was doing. I knew I could be giving more, doing better.
So when I was 5 months pregnant with our son Luke I decided to take a leap and start working for myself. My goal was to have the freedom to choose my own schedule and to find the proper balance of career and Motherhood. I aspired to be 100% authentically myself in my workplace and have permission to form genuine, cherished relationships with my clients. I had the desire to follow through on my commitment to my clients to be able to do my best work. Luckily I found Maven, a salon in Temple Bar which catered specifically to Sole Traders. It was there I found everything I was looking for.

Fast forward 4 years and I now have my own salon where I rent chairs to other Sole Traders. The energy in The Suite Salon is absolute magic. I'm so blessed to work among the most talented, creative, genuine, good hearted people in the industry. To be able to provide the space that encourages freedom and abundance to other Hairdressers is my proudest accomplishment to date, besides being a Mommy of course.
